Our Story
How We Met
We met on the football field at Nippert Stadium during a marching band rehearsal in 2016. We reconnected a year later when we moved into the same building on Clifton Avenue. After many evenings staying up talking, playing board games, and hammocking in the park across the street, Evan asked Megan on their first date.
When We Knew
On September 22, 2017, we got dinner at fountain square, then walked across the bridge to Newport to spend the rest of the evening. While we watched the Reds post-game fireworks from across the river, Evan asked Megan to be his girlfriend.
Falling Into Place
We spent the next few years finishing college by each other's sides - playing with the band at football and basketball games, traveling for tournaments, and attending formals together. Before we knew it, we had become part of each other's families and friend groups.
Building Our Life
After graduation, we supported each other in starting our careers. In the summer of 2023, we bought our first home together - a perfect condo in Sharonville, Ohio. We've been able to spend more time traveling in the last few years, with trips to Chicago, Denver, Siesta Key, the Grand Canyon, Universal Studios, Tulum, the Smoky Mountains, and recently Japan.
The Proposal
On the last day of our unforgettable trip to Japan, Evan planned a special afternoon in the quiet Kiyosumi Gardens, where on a bench overlooking the koi pond, he asked Megan to marry him. Of course, Megan said yes, and we returned home engaged!

And now, surrounded by everyone we love most, we begin the greatest chapter yet. We can't wait to celebrate this day with you.
